In 2000, I graduated as a Speech Therapist from the Arnhem and Nijmegen University of Applied Sciences.

After several internships, I started working at Basalt Rehabilitation in The Hague in 2002.

From 2002 to 2023, I worked with great pleasure in multiple treatment teams, both clinically and in an outpatient setting.

To further deepen my understanding of the examination and treatment of adults with neurological disorders, I completed the Neurological Language and Speech Disorders (NTSS) training at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2004 to 2006.

In addition, I completed the Postgraduate Program in Dysphagia at Artevelde University of Applied Sciences in Ghent from 2015 to 2017.

Throughout my career, I have continuously pursued further training and continuing education to stay as up-to-date as possible in the field of speech therapy.

Through my work at the rehabilitation center, I have extensive experience with neurological conditions: Cerebrivascular Accident (CVA), acquired brain injury (ABI), Neuromuscular Disorders (NMDs), Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Oncology, and speech disorders following COVID.

Since August 2022, I have been living with my family in the mountains in Austria.

In the winter we enjoy skiing, and in the summer we like to go for a walk in the mountains or play tennis, mountain biking, or golf.📞 31 6 15554892
